BIODYNAMIC

ECOLOGICAL FARMING

The whisper of our land and its history

Our philosophy, both in the vineyard and in the winery, is guided by biodynamic agriculture — a way of working that calls for observation, sensitivity, and deep respect for life. We embrace its depth and complexity with humility, fully aware that it is a lifelong path of learning, reflection, and constant evolution.

Rooted in the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, biodynamics understands the human being as part of a greater whole — intimately connected to the earth, to nature, and to the rhythms of the cosmos. It brings together scientific insight and spiritual awareness, acknowledging both the visible and invisible forces that shape life. In this view, nothing exists in isolation: soil, plant, animal, and human are woven into a living, dynamic system in which everything is deeply interrelated.

“ La auténtica pureza no es la pureza primigenia,
sino la impureza depurada.
Y lo verdaderamente bueno no es el bien original,
sino el mal superado.”

- Friedrich Benesch

UN SOLO ORGANISMO

EMBRACING THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

INTO THE FARM ORGANISM

In biodynamic agriculture, the presence of animals within the farm ecosystem is essential. Beyond fertilizing the soil or helping with mowing and early pruning, their very presence brings a subtle, irreplaceable vitality to the plants.

Our journey began with horses — gentle companions of humanity since time immemorial. In winter, they fertilize and mow the vineyards; in the growing season, they help clear abandoned forests and meadows.

They have become part of our living farm organism, introducing a new rhythm and a soulful presence — the spirit of the animal kingdom quietly guiding our work and enriching our land.

ARTESIAN WINES

In our winemaking, we intervene as little as possible, letting the voice of our terroir and the character of each vintage speak for themselves. Our vineyards perch between mountain and valley, at the very edge of vine cultivation in Rioja Alavesa — a place where nature shapes every vine.

Guided by a biodynamic philosophy, we carry forward the work begun in the vineyard, crafting wines that nurture, heal, and connect with all who savor them.
